Our Expertise
Investigation Standards
Systematic monitoring of national and international investigative experience combined with in-depth analysis help us work on the development of Investigation Standards for criminal justice practitioners. Our developments enable investigators and prosecutors to use the resources available to them in the most effective way to achieve the results of criminal proceedings. It is made possible through the use of tools of quality investigation planning, being on the same page about the role and actions of each stakeholder at different stages of the investigation, use of standard algorithms for investigating certain types of crimes or innovative methods that may work in Ukrainian context.
Management and Criminal Justice
Quality management is the basis for the effective functioning of any system. Therefore, we firmly believe that the integration of the cutting-edge management standards and building the capacity of managers in the system will ensure integrity of the system and effective performance of its functions.
Human Rights and Criminal Justice
The level of respect for human rights is one of key indicators of the level of development of the criminal justice system, its true values and professional standards. Our efforts are aimed at implementing modern approaches and methods in the work of criminal justice bodies, which ensure effective achievement of their goals and objectives, while minimizing the risk of human rights violations by law enforcement officers.
Economics of Law
Crime is evolving and diversifying, but the resources of law enforcement and the criminal justice system as a whole are limited. Therefore, our efforts are aimed at ensuring the maximum cost-effectiveness of the system and its components, taking into account the findings of economic analysis of different scenarios to achieve the goals.
Effectiveness of the Criminal Justice System
It is important for us to develop discourse, collect and analyze data on the effectiveness of the justice system in Ukraine. We share the value of seeing the bigger picture of how the system is changing and how this change is affecting its effectiveness. We look at the system through the interconnection of its elements and the creation of real added value for society in the form of security.
